Manchester: APP peer support social / cafe group (in person, Manchester)

Friday, 20 December '24   10:30am – 12:30pm GMT

Details

Join us at our friendly, informal meet-up for those who have experienced psychosis in the perinatal period and live in Manchester.

This is a safe place to share experiences and make new friends. Whether you are recovering or had it many years ago, support from others who have 'been there' too is so important. Together, we might even find we can improve the future for others affected by severe perinatal illness.

This meet-up takes place in person at a café in Manchester. APP will be able to pay for the drinks at the meet up. You are really welcome to bring someone with you if you like - your partner, family member or friend, and your child/ren.

If you would like to chat with us, and get more information about the group, please email: manchester@app-network.org

This meet-up is intended for those who live in the Manchester. We run meet-ups in other areas too, see our peer support web page for the latest dates.

APP works with the Andersen Ward at the Mother & Baby Unit (MBU) at Wythenshawe hospital to offer peer support and information.
