A relaxed creative writing session for our lived experience community, offering a warm, gentle, no-pressure environment to write for you and your wellbeing.

Join us as we reflect on this year's Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week’s theme of 'Your Voice, Your Strength'.

To mark this year’s Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week, we are delighted that Laura Dockrill, What Have I Done? author and Action on Postpartum Psychosis ambassador, is running another session for our lived experience network.

Join us for a relaxed creative writing session offering a warm, gentle, no-pressure environment to write for you and your wellbeing.

There is no experience required and no need for fancy vocabulary or incredible spelling and grammar skills. This is a chance for your heart and head to do some talking. So, leave that inner-critic and expectation behind. All you need is something to write with and on.

Booking information:

  • This free session is for anyone with lived experience of postpartum psychosis.
  • Please sign up to join the free 'APP Network' lived experience community: www.app-network.org/join before registering for this session.
  • This session will take place on Zoom. The Zoom link will be shared with you after you have booked your place and your place has been confirmed.
  • The APP team will be there for any technical or peer support. If you have any questions, please email: app@app-network.org

The session will take place online via Zoom. The joining details will be shared with you when your place is confirmed. Just bring something to write with and on!
