APP Perimenopause peer support group

Wednesday, 29 April '26   12pm – 1pm BST

Details

Are you aware that perimenopause might be a difficult time for you if you’ve had a postpartum psychosis episode of illness?

Dr Clare Dolman is a mental health researcher working in this area who has had a postpartum psychosis herself and lives with bipolar. In this session, she discusses what is known about the risk of relapse at this time, how we can identify it and hopefully prevent it from happening. We will then have a group discussion and share our own experiences.

This is a safe place to share experiences and make new friends. Whether you are recovering or had the illness many years ago, support from others who have 'been there' too is so important.
This meet-up takes place online via video call.

You can read here about what to expect at the group.

If you would like to chat with us, and get more information before the group, please email: ellie@app-network.org

We run other meet-ups too, see our peer support web page for the latest dates.

We close bookings two days in advance of the group meeting in order to connect with people before they join. If bookings are closed and you'd like to attend please email ellie@app-network.org
