These adventures are suited to all pre-schoolers who are walking, as well as their parents/carers who'd also like the chance to play in nature too!
Sessions will be based in our private woodland at Baldersby Park, near Topcliffe and based on Forest School principles. Your adventures will be child-led, allowing everyone to explore, discover, create and play whilst immersed in nature.
We love to see what nature throws at us each week - what's growing, what's going, what the weather is doing, what the animals have been up to etc etc - and we'll always offer a guided activity to spark imagination and learning.
Our Early Years Specialist, Catherine will be leading the sessions, assisted by Hannah, Base Camp founder and Group Leader.
Snacks and drinks will be available to all adventurers (big and small!).
We look forward to welcoming you into Baldersby Park and allowing you to uncover the untold natural wonders it has to offer.
Facilities
Parking - on site and secure, turn into the entrance and park on the gravel. Gates will be closed once all attendees have arrived.

All seasons
Clothing: Long-sleeved tops and full-length trousers are required to protect against nettles, scratches, and ticks - tracksuit bottoms or leggings are perfect.
Think like an onion! Multiple thin layers (thermal, fleece, jacket) are better than one big coat.
Waterproof All-in-one suits are brilliant for full protection from the elements!
Footwear:
Waterproof wellies or sturdy walking boots are essential.
