Do you constantly feel burned out? Exhausted? Stressed?

Yep, I’ve been there. After years of dynamic movement practices and being overwhelmed by stress, my body and mind felt completely exhausted. One knee injury later, which forced me to try a different approach, I discovered yoga practices which helped me to heal from the inside out. I would love to share the tools I have learned with you!

In this Yoga Workshop you will learn how to soothe your nervous system, sleep better and relieve physical and mental tension based on principles of Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga.

This workshop will be slower paced, with nourishing stretches, mindful meditation and soothing breathing practices. We will allow time for learning and reflection, so you can begin to build your own ‘relaxation toolkit’ to take away.

During this workshop you will learn:

  • Somatic movement practices to focus on inner experiences of movement
  • How to work with energy points in the body based on traditional Chinese medicine
  • Use of breathing practices to calm the nervous system
  • Yin yoga postures for nourishing stretches
  • Restorative yoga postures to release physical and emotional tension

Suitable for all levels of experience.

Instructions

Please bring your own yoga mat, any yoga blocks you wish to use, a blanket and a pillow/bed cushion OR yoga bolster.

A small number of yoga blocks will be provided.
