Throughout the afternoon, you’ll explore how to risk assess sessions, plan effective lessons, teach two required disciplines, and reflect on ways to continue improving your coaching skills.
With expert guidance from FBHS Danny Anholt and enthusiastic riders from Cannington Equestrian Centre, you’ll have the chance to teach our wonderful school horses in a relaxed, encouraging environment. It’s an ideal opportunity to gain real teaching experience and receive constructive, personalised feedback.
You’ll be able to watch how others approach their lessons, as well as step in and teach yourself — though observing is just as valuable if you prefer to take things in from the sidelines.
