A unique opportunity to work with a Classically trained instructor on a horse simulator which gives you time to concentrate on your position and riding techniques without having to worry about what your horse is up to!
In a group of no more than four, your three-hour session will include an introductory lecture about classical riding followed by an instructed session on ‘Fred’ the simulated horse. You will then be given exercises specific to you and your needs before a further session on the simulator to consolidate your learning.
YOUR COACH
Tamsin was born in Zimbabwe where she fell in love with horses and began riding at the age of 5. At 19 she travelled to the UK where she experienced a long-term illness and was diagnosed with a chronic muscle and spinal disorder. After being given a particularly difficult and powerful horse that seemed to defy everything she'd ever learned, Tamsin was forced to readjust her lifelong opinions. Despite having been a gymnast and rider from a young age, she could no longer rely on being athletic and strong, so her journey in classical training began.
She started studying and regularly attending clinics of the modern classical master, Philippe Karl, where her love of a "higher equestrian education" blossomed.
As her journey progressed, she had the privilege of being taught by a variety of classical trainers and her passion for teaching developed.
Tamsin has now trained and qualified as an "ENLIGHTENED EQUITATION" instructor and specializes in the riders' position and aids.
