British Horse Society is excited to invite you to join us for the very first Abbotsbury Pleasure Ride.
There will be routes on the Ridgeway Hills which give you stunning views over the Jurassic coast above Chesil beach on the southern edge of Dorset. Crossing mostly grassland, with some tracks, the route will be well marked with friendly marshals along the way to make sure you're ok and enjoying yourselves.
The routes are on hills so please make sure your horse is fit enough for the ride.
5/6 mile route and 10 mile route.
Online entries only. No entries on the day.
Registration from 9.30am - 11.30am. Starting from 10.00am - 12.00pm. You will select your arrival/start time at the point of booking.
Under 16s are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult walker or rider.
Walkers are welcome - if you bring a dog, please keep them on a lead.
There will be a photographer to capture you and your horse in action and refreshments to buy when you've finished your ride.
Proceeds from this ride will be shared, with half going towards the BHS Ride Out UK Fund, and half towards helping to maintain, preserve and protect off road riding in Dorset.
