Feral Pony Preparation Clinic in collaboration with The HUGS Foundation

British Horse Society is delighted to bring its Feral Pony Education Series to Cornwall in partnership with The HUGS Foundation.

This engaging workshop is designed for anyone interested in understanding the journey of a feral pony from the moor into a loving home. Whether you're considering purchasing a pony from this autumn's sales, already own a feral pony, or simply want to learn more about these incredible animals, this event will provide practical advice and expert guidance.

Throughout the session we'll explore feral pony behaviour, handling techniques, suitable facilities, nutrition, parasite control, hoof care, veterinary planning and the importance of allowing ponies time to adapt to domestic life. We'll also celebrate successful homing stories and discuss how education and preparation can make all the difference to long-term welfare.

Working alongside charities and equine professionals, British Horse Society is committed to placing the welfare of the pony at the heart of every conversation. This workshop is an opportunity to learn, ask questions and become part of a growing community dedicated to giving feral ponies the best possible future.
