Discover the beauty and folklore of Irish native wildflowers on Inis Meáin at the height of the summer season.

Learn to identify a variety of rare and common native wildflowers, learn how to sustainably forage native Irish wild plants for use in cookery and herbal remedies, and discover local and national folklore associated with our Irish wildflowers, as well as their Irish language names and cultural significance.

Tour duration: 1.5 - 2 hours
Tour length: Approx 3km

Instructions

All attendees are recommended to wear good shoes for walking as the roads of Inis Meáin can be uneven underfoot. SPF and raincoats are also advisable.
