Discover the beauty and folklore of Ireland's spring wildflowers on Inis Meáin, the most remote of the Aran Islands. Learn to identify edible wild Irish plants, hear about the traditional uses of wildflowers in cookery, medicine and craft and enjoy stunning displays of well-known native wildflowers as well as rare Aran Island/Burren plants.
All attendees are recommended to wear good shoes for walking as the roads of Inis Meáin can be uneven underfoot. SPF and raincoats are also advisable.
All Bláthanna Fiáine Wildflower Walks incorprate accesible elements of the Irish language. Depending on demand, a separate Irish language tour may be organised to accommodate Irish speakers.
