Blŵm Wellbeing

Started in 2020 as a community dance company by Sophie, Blŵm has now awoken from it's hibernation. Offering dance, sports massage and the therapy that is increasing popularity across the world - assisted stretching. Blŵm aims to be a wellbeing hub with community and connection at its heart.

Sophie is an experienced Community Dance Artist who has been teaching in various contexts across Wales since her graduation from Falmouth University in 2018. She has a specific interest in Dancing with Parkinson's practice, which she has been teaching longer than any other dance style. Blŵm's NeuroGroove sessions have grown from this passion, blossoming into a beautiful community of people.

In 2024 Sophie began her VCTC Level 3 Sports Massage qualification with Cardiff and Vale College and is currently working towards her Level 4. While new to the practice, her embodied understanding of anatomy and movement - developed through years of dancing and teaching people of all ages and abilities - has made sports massage a natural and rewarding extension of her work in helping others feel well.

Recently, after reconnecting with her love of yoga, Sophie undertook an Assisted Stretching course with Andrea Molin (@thestretchguy_) and Assisted Stretching is now an exciting new treatment offered within a sports massage appointment or as a stand alone, full body experience.

Sports massage and assisted stretching appointments are flexible - if you would like to book a specific time on our clinic days or arrange an at-home appointment at a time that suits you, please contact Sophie directly on blwmdance@outlook.com.
