We've hosted two gorgeous reading retreats in the sunshine, now its time to get cosy! We are excited to announce bookings for our 2025 Winter Reading Retreat from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd February are now open! (See below)

We'll be hosting at Howgills House on the edge of the Lake District in Sedbergh one of the UK's leading Book Towns, bringing together like-minded individuals and reading buddies to come together to relax, retreat and read! All room bookings will include:

🍴 All meals including wine and soft drinks
🧘‍♀️Yoga suitable for all levels
🧖‍♀️Access to hot tub
👥Opportunity for socialising but also lots of time for just curling up in a perfect spot with your current read
📚A book posted to you beforehand to read to then discuss as a group

🕵🏼‍♀️And new for the first time a 1920's Agatha Christie themed murder mystery night!

The weekend can be as social as you choose to make it; you can just come to read your books in a beautiful setting (or in a hot tub!) or there will be a few planned social activities throughout the weekend if you'd like to meet new people. Likewise, you don't have to have a role in the murder mystery night if you'd prefer to just watch. The weekend is yours to make it whatever you'd like!
