Get ready to celebrate St Patrick’s Day ‘the Bootle way’ - on the water! 💚
Join Bootle Canoe & Outdoor Club on Saturday 21st March 2026 for our annual Paddy Paddle, a brilliant morning of canoeing, community spirit and caring for our canal.
📍 Meeting Point: Lock & Quay Pub (canal-side)
🕙 Time: 10:00am start
What to Expect:
🛶 Guided community paddle
♻️ Canal litter pick & tidy-up
☘️ Fancy dress encouraged – think green, leprechauns & silly hats!
We’ll provide:
✔ Canoes
✔ Buoyancy aids
✔ Qualified instructors
✔ All safety equipment
Just dress for the weather and bring your community spirit! ☀️🌧️

Places are FREE but LIMITED!
Dress for the weather! (Don’t forget to wear something green!) Be comfy! Gloves help to grip the paddles and pick up rubbish. Towels and wipes are also a good idea as splashes are unavoidable.
Equipment will be provided but bring your own litter picker if you have one!
All children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
