Cancellation and Makeup Policy
Cancellation Policy
Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 7 days before the first class.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course begins are eligible for a 50% refund.
Once the course has started, tuition is non-refundable.
If a robotics kit is included with the registration and has already been shipped, the cost of the kit and shipping will be deducted from any eligible refund.
If ByteBear cancels the course before it begins, families will receive a full refund. If ByteBear needs to cancel an individual class, students will receive a makeup opportunity or an equivalent replacement session.
Makeup Policy
We understand that students may occasionally be unable to attend a scheduled class.
If a student misses a class, they may receive one makeup token for that missed session. The makeup token can be used to attend another available ByteBear class during the current course period, subject to availability.
Makeup tokens are intended for missed classes and cannot be exchanged for a refund, cash, or credit toward another course.
Makeup sessions must be scheduled in advance and are subject to available space. Makeup tokens cannot be transferred to another student.
If a student misses a makeup session, the makeup token will be considered used and another makeup session will not be provided.
Makeup tokens must be used during the current course period and cannot be carried over to a future course.
By registering for the course, you acknowledge and agree to the cancellation and makeup policy.
