Georgie Armstrong from DDT Detection Dog Trials & Endeavour Canine will be spending the day with us.
Georgie started out in Search and Rescue with her air scent dog Dexter, he was trained to search for missing people, he is still and always will be my absolute dog in a million. When are started training her Springer Spaniel in Human Remains Detection and Water Search, she moved more into the detection world. This eventually led her to start teaching detection to pet, professional and sport handlers.

The area hold’s some amazing locations to search such as Junk in the Trunk, Warzone, Playgroud & Wild West. Onsite are an abandoned Tank, Helicopter, Vehicles, Structures and Buildings.
The day is open to any level of team, dogs can be on any odour but they need to be on odour. The location lends itself better to area search and novel environments.
Across the day we will look at your dogs motivation to search & commitment to odour and help handlers progress.
Some light refreshments & snacks will be provided but please bring your own lunch.
Handler space £85 non refundable deposit £40 required now the remaining 6weeks prior to course date.
Please arrive a little earlier to the workshop so we can brief for a prompt start.
The dogs will be worked 1 at a time and outside the search area or in your cars between searches.
We will be working outside all day so please dress appropriately & make provisions for your dogs in your vehicles. This area is cooler so will go ahead even if it’s warmer.

Please meet me in the staff car park entrance which is after the main entrance if you come via the A456. It is where the area either side of the road opens up for horses and livery yard and there is a green roofed shed. Come down the private track.
We can park closer to our trailing area there.
