Mark Doggett of Detection Training UK will be spending the day with us In Shustoke, B46

This 1 day seminar will focus on Line up's, ORT's and the world of applying practical application of training skills to improve your team work. Training will be tailored to individuals levels on any odours.

Your instructor for the weekend will be Mark Doggett.
Mark brings a wide range of experience and knowledge in detection work to this workshop. Mark has ran Enviro-Dogs who trained and worked dry rot detection dogs over the UK. Enviro-dogs also provide training for other organisations and work on specialist projects which have included being involved in training dogs for conservation work in the UK and for international projects.
Away from Mark's Enviro-dogs work his involvement in the charity Medical Detection Dogs has grown, initially providing aftercare support for Medical Alert Assistance Dogs, Mark's involvement then moved over to the Bio Detection department where Mark has worked on various disease detection projects including taking the role of project lead on Medical Detection Dogs' latest Malaria Detection dog work. Mark then went on to manage the bio detection research training team.
Mark since worked in the private security industry training dogs for explosives detection work and training dogs for research projects.
Mark currently works for a national charity and a Training and Behaviour advisor.

It’s a max of 8 handlers and 4 spectators for the day.

Time approx 10-4/5pm
Any levels and any odours welcome.

£90 for handler space and £30 for spectator.

The day is open to any level of team, dogs can be on any odour, toy or food search.

Some light refreshments & snacks will be provided but please bring your own lunch.

Instructions

Please arrive a little earlier to the workshop so we can brief for a prompt start.

The dogs will be worked 1 at a time and outside the search area or in your cars between searches.
We will be working inside and outside all day so please dress appropriately & make provisions for your dogs in your vehicles.

What you will need -

*Your dogs odour (If I don't have it, message me upon booking if it’s different to Gun Oil, Clove or Kong)

*Dogs FAVOURITE Rewards - FOOD/TOY

*PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOG ON LEAD AT ALL TIMES UNTIL INSTRUCTED OTHERWISE.

*Please Park considerably as its a small car park
