Take some time out to nurture yourself through your pregnancy, and help prepare for birth and beyond. A chance to gently and safely move your body, find your breath, and detach for a while from the business of everyday life to concentrate on your own needs, as well as those of the new little life growing within you.
Each class will bring together, physical movement, breathwork, and a period of relaxation, all designed with the special needs of pregnancy in mind. These classes will help you prepare for birth, whatever form your birth takes, and give you time to reflect on your developing relationship with your baby.
Classes also give you the opportunity to get to know other parents living nearby, and are relaxed and friendly, building the basis for a supportive community of parents.
You may choose to return to the classes after birth with the postnatal Yoga With Baby classes and continue being an active part of that community.
Please note, you must be at least 12 weeks pregnant before attending Pregnancy Yoga classes.

I can provide you with a yoga mat, or you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Some blocks are available (wider shallow ones, not the "brick" shaped blocks) but you may bring your own if you require more. I would also strongly encourage you to bring a blanket to use for extra support and comfort, and for warmth during the relaxation (savasana) which is included in each class. You may also wish to bring an eye covering for the relaxation too. Please make sure to bring some water with you to the classes.
If you are unable to attend a pre-booked class, I am unable to offer refunds.
You are welcome to transfer your class to another date, dependent on availability. If you wish to transfer a class booking to a later date this must be done at least 12 hours before the original class start time.

Plenty of car parking available on site.
St Peter's Centre is located on Ash Church Road on the opposite side to St Peter's Parish church. I have a white banner up on the fence that runs alongside the car park, near to the entrance, which should help you find it.
The level crossing at Ash station is now closed to traffic and access by car to Ash Church Road from Guildford Road and Ash Hill Road is now via the new Chester Bridge on Stonehill Road.
(Directions on Google Maps show this correctly, but if you just look at the map it's not clear that there is no railway crossing next to the station for cars.)
Access on foot from Guilford and Ash Hill Road is still over the level crossing on Ash Church Road.
