A conscious experience of the breath
In this workshop, we gently turn our attention toward the breath, not to control or improve it, but to experience it more fully. Through slow, guided somatic movement, you’ll explore how the body can become a more open and responsive channel for breath and vitality.
As awareness deepens, the breath often begins to feel less restricted and more spacious - supporting steadiness, clarity and ease.
This session will focus on:
Freeing and mobilising the diaphragm, the primary muscle of breathing
Gentle side bends and supported back bends to create space in the rib cage
Mobilising stiff or held areas of the thoracic spine
Coordinating slow, refined movement with breath
Pauses for rest and integration to notice subtle changes
Rather than forcing deeper breathing, we’ll work with the structures that support it, softening tension, creating space, and allowing the breath to move more naturally.
Who It’s For
Anyone curious about breathing more comfortably, reducing upper body tension, or exploring movement in a slow, mindful way.
No previous experience is needed, just a willingness to move gently and pay attention.
