Details

Our Forest School session offers children an hour and a half to immerse themselves in child led free play in a beautiful secure woodland. Suitable from walking to age 5, younger siblings in a buggy or sling who are too young to take part are FREE when booking a ticket for your older child.

Our set up is always evolving but includes mud kitchens, hammocks and swings, balancing straplines, digging and construction zone, bug hunting areas and plenty of space to play with friends.

Each session will offer a range of different activities for the children to take part in which will be related to a story, season or significant event.

There will be an adult led activity where we may use tools and resources that the woodland provides to create and make things for the children to take home.

There will also be other activities that you can do together with your child before we finish together sat around the campfire to toast a snack, sing some songs and share a story.

Over the last 2 years at Cheshire Forest School, we have created a lovely community where adults and children have made friends and benefitted from a morning spent in nature, where children have developed self esteem, been supported to take risks, explored freely and developed their creativity, confidence and independence.
