Claude’s Meadow

Welcome to Claude’s Meadow which is a 1.5 acre enclosed dog exercise field based in Cawood.

We have been fostering and helping to find suitable homes for rescue dogs for several years for a charity called the Pointer Rescue Service. They do fantastic work rescuing dogs from the UK and abroad so we want to try to give something back. Therefore, 10% of every booking made is donated to the charity to help fund the work they do.

So, if you’re looking for a field to rent where you can enjoy some off lead time with your dog then this might be the place for you.

Claude’s Meadow is enclosed by a 4ft post and rail fence with equine netting from top to bottom. If your dog is a jumper of this sort of height then it’s probably not the field for you.

Bookings are 45 minutes long and available from 8am - 8pm for a maximum of up to 4 dogs per booking and 1 car per booking.

Also available is Juno's Paddock which is bookable by prior arrangement and can be used by dog trainers for 1:1 sessions on an adhoc basis to suit your needs. The paddock is slightly smaller than Claude's Meadow and enclosed with the same 4ft post and rail fencing with equine netting.
