CMK Training Academy

The CMK Training Academy has been funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. Our mission is to empower and support communities across Kent with a range of wellbeing peer support services and training to empower our communities in prioritising their health and wellbeing, and the wellbeing of others.

The CMK Training Academy provides a range of adult and youth Mental Health First Aid Courses (MHFA) accredited and licensed by Mental Health First Aid England. This training teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be at risk of experiencing a mental health issue.

Our courses won't teach you how to be a therapist, but will help raise awareness, teach you how to listen, reassure and how to respond, even in crisis. The skills you will learn may even support in saving a life.

You’ll learn to recognise warning signs of mental ill health and develop the skills and confidence to approach and support someone while keeping yourself safe.
