2 Day programme of Outdoor Education.
How do you set up an outdoor learning classroom at your school? We will deliver practical and theory sessions on; health and safety, site development and linking outdoor learning across a range of curriculum subjects.
You will develop your practical skills in a range of areas including; Fire lighting, using and maintaining tools, shelter building and cooking outdoors.
Learning and exploration
This unit will develop your knowledge and understanding of the environment, the importance of seasonal changes and will provide you with resources to support you in the development of outdoor learning.
What will I need to take part on the course?
You will need waterproof clothing, appropriate footwear, hat and gloves and plenty of layers! - If cold!!
Lunch will be provided
By attending this course you will be given units of exploration SOW (schemes of work) in a variety of subject areas to take back to your school.
Lunch will be provided.
Please wear clothing appropriate for outdoor practical activities.
