Why attend Minding Your Wellbeing?
As healthcare staff your mental health is always important, sometimes you may need a little help to care for it. Minding Your Wellbeing aims to offer simple tools and guidance to help you develop and maintain a positive approach to looking after your mental health and wellbeing every day. The training will provide you with an opportunity to explore and understand the different ways you can actively care for your mental health and wellbeing. You can then try to make those positive actions part of day to day life.
What are the aims of this training?
The aim of this training is to support staff to care for their mental wellbeing within the work setting and to enable them to develop good self care practices
The objectives of the training are:
To encourage a positive approach to caring for our mental wellbeing as a resource for everyday living
To highlight the importance of self care in our professional and personal life.
To introduce useful tools and strategies to support positive mental health and wellbeing
To encourage further learning in the area of positive mental well-being to support good self care practice.

Please Note: This programme aims to support positive mental health and well being for everyday living. It is not of a clinical nature and does not cover the identification of symptoms or treatment of mental health difficulties. It is not intended as a personal therapeutic training and participants will not be expected, or invited to discuss their own personal mental health experiences.
