Chesterfield FC Community Trust Events and Holiday Camps Cancellation & Refund Policy
To enable us to effectively manage our programmes and staffing levels, the following cancellation policy applies to all Chesterfield FC Community Trust events, activities, courses and holiday camps.
Full Refunds
Participants are entitled to a full refund if cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the event, activity or holiday camp.
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method wherever possible.
Cancellations Within 48 Hours
If a participant cancels less than 48 hours before the event, activity or holiday camp is due to begin, no refund will be issued.
However, the booking fee paid will be transferred as a credit and the participant will be offered the opportunity to attend an alternative Chesterfield FC Community Trust event, activity or holiday camp of equivalent value, subject to availability.
Participants who fail to attend without notifying Chesterfield FC Community Trust in advance will be considered a no-show.
No refund, credit or transfer will be offered in these circumstances.
In the unlikely event that Chesterfield FC Community Trust needs to cancel an event, activity or holiday camp due to unforeseen circumstances, low attendance, adverse weather, venue issues or any other operational reason, participants will be offered either:
A full refund; or
A transfer to an alternative date or event.
Requests to transfer a booking to another event or camp made more than 48 hours before the start date will be considered at the discretion of Chesterfield FC Community Trust and subject to availability.
We recognise that unforeseen circumstances can arise.
Where a participant cannot attend due to serious illness, injury, bereavement or other exceptional circumstances, we encourage customers to contact us as soon as possible. Supporting evidence may be requested where appropriate.
Any refund or transfer outside the terms of this policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis. This does not affect any statutory rights a consumer may have.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to:
activities@cfcct.org.uk
The date and time of the email will be used to determine eligibility for a refund or transfer.
