The Children’s Hope Alliance Heartstrings Therapeutic Music & Art Program is committed to offering educational and experiential music and art opportunities to enrich the lives of children and their families. We are founded on the belief that music and art are effective and empowering methods for problem-solving, promoting growth and well-being in individuals, families, and communities.
Students can learn skills like playing guitar and piano, painting, and drawing, as well as experiencing live performances from area artists. They will learn how to paint, draw and/or arts & craft classes, and/or learn to play guitar, piano/keyboard, percussion and/or voice lessons (classes available depend on volunteer teacher and artist availability).
All of these classes are provided FREE of charge, Monday through Thursday, and special events are held throughout the year. Heartstrings is a volunteer-driven music and art program.
