Terms and Conditions for Paper Rock Scissors Art Studios
Welcome to Paper Rock Scissors Art Studios.
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before enrolling in any classes or workshops. By registering for a class or workshop, you agree to abide by these Terms.
Enrolment and Payment
Registration
- All participants must complete the registration form and submit the required payment to secure their spot in a class or workshop.
- Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces are limited.
Payment
- Payment must be made in full at the time of registration.
- Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, and PayPal.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Studio Cancellations
- In the rare event Paper Rock Scissors Art Studios cancels a class or workshop, participants will receive the option to transfer to another class or workshop of equal value or a credit will be applied. A refund is an option but on a case-by-case scenario and can be discussed by phone or email.
- In the event the class size is not practical to proceed based on booking numbers, it may result in combining of the 2 art studios. This will be determined by the leading instructor and notice will be given to participants as soon as possible.
Participant Cancellations
- Cancellations made more than 4 days before the start date of the class or workshop will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 4 days of the start date will not be eligible for a refund.
- No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
Class and Workshop Policies
Attendance
- Participants are expected to arrive on time. Late arrivals may disrupt the class and miss important instructions.
- If you anticipate being late, please notify the studio in advance.
Conduct
- Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, staff, and fellow participants.
- Disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the class or workshop without a refund.
Materials
- Unless otherwise specified, all art materials are supplied
Liability and Waiver
Assumption of Risk
- Participants understand and accept that art classes and workshops involve inherent risks, including but not limited to the use of art materials and tools.
Waiver
- By enrolling in a class or workshop, participants agree to waive any claims against Paper Rock Scissors Art Studios, its instructors, and staff for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the course of the class or workshop.
Photography and Media Release
Consent
- Paper Rock Scissors Art Studios may take photographs or videos during classes and workshops for promotional purposes.
- By participating, you consent to being photographed or recorded and to the use of such media in promotional materials.
Opt-Out
- If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify the studio in advance.
Privacy Policy
Data Collection
- Paper Rock Scissors Art Studios collects personal information for the purposes of registration and communication.
- We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent.
Amendments to Terms
Changes
- Paper Rock Scissors Art Studios reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
- Participants will be notified of any significant changes to these Terms.
