I am Sonia Allcock, a Pole and Aerial Fitness instructor based in St Asaph, teaching across North Wales and Chester. My classes are open to everybody — regardless of ability, experience, age, shape, or size.

With over 20 years of industry experience, I pride myself on delivering classes that are not only fun, but safe, supportive, and empowering. I have competed and judged at both national and international level, including the European Championships and the IPAAT International Pole & Aerial Arts Tournament.

I am your local go-to Pole & Aerial professional. If you are looking for a knowledgeable coach and a welcoming studio environment — you’ve found it.

Having a great coach makes all the difference. My goal is to ensure you get the very best out of every class. I take care of everything you might not even think about — from safety and structure to creating a completely non-judgemental, private space where you can feel comfortable and confident.

You’ll never feel watched or out of place — just supported, encouraged, and part of a positive environment.

I am fully qualified, insured, DBS checked, and first aid trained. The Studio is equipped with everything you need, including crash mats, spotting support, and free grip products — so you can focus entirely on your progress.

FAQ + All Info!

There are 2 types of classes available depending on your wants/needs:

  1. Group Class - Mixed level, all intermediate & advanced level students only. Cost: £13.25 per person per class.
    Group classes are regular and usually the same day and time every week. Class is 1 hour long.
    If you are looking for a Beginner group class, please contact me directly.

  2. Private Class - you decide on who is attending, a great option if you prefer to be alone or share the class with friends only. Cost: £37.50 - £58 per hour.
    Class is 1 hour long, suitable for any level or ability including Beginners.

Where do you teach?
I teach pole dance & fitness in St Asaph at Ffynnon Flow Yoga and Wellness, Upper Denbigh Road, St Asaph, LL17 0BG.

What shall I wear?
*For Pole – please wear – shorts, normal sportswear for the warm up. No moisturiser, lotion or oil on the body or hands.
*For Aerials – please wear – tight layers, armpits covered up and long hair tied back- eg leggings.
*Please bring – a smile for that all important photo opportunity!

How do I book?

  1. Read our Terms & Conditions, Health & Safety Policy, Code of Conduct - all set out below.

  2. Choose from the schedule. Fill in your details.

  3. Pay your full amount in advance.

  4. Once you have paid, all that is left to do is turn up and enjoy your session!

  5. Upon arrival at the studio I will be there ready to welcome you.

Terms & Conditions:

All customers are responsible for their own bookings.
Class cannot be booked without payment in advance. This is to secure your place for the class, at your chosen date and time.
Payments are made via the online booking system https://bookwhen.com/phoenixaerialfitness
Cancellations/Missed Classes/No Shows: If you do not show up to your class, you will forfeit that class.
Bookings cannot be shared between friends and are non transferable.
We cannot carry over ANY sessions.
All payment are non refundable & non transferable. There will be NO refunds.

Note: You may occur bruises due to the nature of the fitness.
Health – We do not teach anybody that is injured or pregnant or has recently given birth, we may request a note from
your GP or health care professional if there are any serious health issues, concerns or injuries – existing or pre-existing.
Subject to change – there maybe changes made to your class timetable, therefore all classes are subject to change,
we reserve the right to change any class at any time. This is to allow for but is not limited to extreme weather conditions
and the like. Please make sure you keep your contact information up to date, check your point of contact (email) prior to class for updates.

Personal Belongings & Parking – you remain liable for your own vehicle and personal belongings during any classes.
Please be discreet when arriving and leaving the studio premises.
Please be mindful that this is a shared residential space—so we kindly ask you to stack cars along the wall and avoid blocking driveways. Thank you for being respectful of our neighbours
Code Of Conduct – please read this prior to starting your class, a copy is displayed below.
Grip Products - provided free of charge, but not to be use excessively. We encourage you to build your grip strength and not rely on using a product. We also sell grip products at the studio.
Payment - Payable prior to class - this is the booking system!

Health & Safety Policy:

Please fill in your PARQ honestly and accurately.
Injuries must be reported to your Instructor, and they must be recorded in the Accident Book.
You are responsible for cleaning your pole before, during and after you have used it. Please use what is provided in the studio.
Crash mats are provided for your safety, please use them, you don’t need to ask, if you are not sure be safe – not sorry.
Spotting is necessary to help you safely and effectively learn moves during class. Supporting another person during a particular exercise, with an emphasis on allowing the participant to lift or push more than they could normally do safely.
Body Preparation & Hygiene – please keep yourself clean, hair and nails tidy, and stay well covered up during your cycle. Please help yourself to the free products provided in the studio.
Health & Safety is of upmost importance at all times.

Code Of Conduct & Class Etiquette:

Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early, unless by prior arrangement.
Please do not distract or interrupt the class that is in progress when you arrive.
Please do not use the studio as a platform or venue to promote your own business or any other pole fitness studio or fitness classes of any other kind during your time at the studio.
Please do not encourage people to go with you to another studio even if it is just for practice.
Please do not teach anybody during your class, your teacher is the only person who is qualified, experienced and insured to do so, if you have a move you want to do – ask your teacher not your classmate.
Please do not arrive late, if you miss the warm up you will not be allowed to take part, the warm up is an essential part of the class to safely prepare the mind and body for your class.
Please do not come to class if you are ill, we don’t want to catch it, plus it will make you feel worse!
Please put your personal belongings away in the area provided.
Please support, help and encourage everyone in your class, we create a friendly and positive training environment please keep it that way.
Pictures may be taken during the class - with consent - for social media purposes.
