About Splodge Art Studio 🎨

Splodge Art Studio offers creative messy play and process art sessions for children aged 1–7 in and around Sheffield.

Our sessions are designed to give little artists the freedom to explore, experiment and create using paint, textures, natural materials and sensory elements. Inspired by the joy of open-ended play, children are encouraged to follow their curiosity and engage with art in their own unique way.

Many sessions take place in beautiful garden and woodland settings, creating a calm and inspiring environment where children can connect with creativity and nature.

At Splodge, the focus is not on creating a perfect finished product but on the experience of making — building confidence, imagination and a love of creative exploration.

Each session offers a range of hands-on creative stations where children can splatter, mix, build and discover at their own pace, with their grown-up alongside them.

Cancellations & transfers

If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

Where possible, bookings can be transferred to another session with at least 24 hours’ notice. Unfortunately refunds may not always be possible due to limited spaces.

Sessions will run in most weather conditions, so please dress appropriately.

In the unlikely event we need to cancel due to extreme weather, you will be contacted and offered a transfer or refund.
