Refund, Cancellation & Booking Policy

Our Principle

Every policy at The French Room is designed to be clear, fair, and respectful of both your time and ours. We plan carefully so that your place is held with care, and we ask the same courtesy in return.

Refunds and Transfers

• You can cancel or transfer your booking up to 24 hours before your class begins. This allows us to offer your place to another learner.
• Cancellations made after this time are non-refundable, as the space and teacher time have been reserved for you.
• Booking changes (date or time) can only be made up to 24 hours in advance.

Class Passes & Fixed Courses

• Purchases of class passes and fixed courses are non-transferable and non-refundable.
• Each pass is fully flexible and can be used for at least up to a year — and often longer.

Group Classes

• You can book a class or coaching session up until 9:00am on the day of the live class at the standard rate or with a valid class pass.
• After this time, late-booking tickets may be available to reserve a class on the same day.
• Exception: Level 6 group classes must be booked by 11:45pm on the Monday before the Friday class.

If you are the only attendee booked (maximum 6 people per class):

• The session will go ahead as a 30-minute private coaching session, offering higher value than your group class ticket.
• If you would prefer not to continue alone, you may cancel at the last minute and transfer your booking to another group class of your choice.
• This exception applies only when a single attendee is the sole participant in a group class.
• In all other cases, the standard 24-hour cancellation policy applies.

Waiting list:

• We operate a waiting list for group classes. Cancelling 24 hours before the session may free a place for another learner.
• If you are on the waiting list, you will be notified as soon as a place becomes available.
• If we do not hear back within 30 minutes, the place will be offered to the next person on the list.

Why This Policy Exists

We believe fairness works both ways: your booking secures our time, and our structure protects your experience. It’s how we keep every class small, personal and well-prepared at The French Room.
