LIVE A LIFE YOU LOVE

Kerry is a highly skilled, 500hr+ advanced yoga teacher based in Leicestershire, UK accredited by the British Wheel Of Yoga and Yoga Alliance professionals.

Kerry first discovered the transformative power of yoga during her career as a performer in the early 90s, encountering somatic practices like Feldenkrais and the Alexander Technique. These experiences deepened her understanding of the intrinsic link between physical movement and mental well-being, inspiring her to explore yoga not just as a practice but as a way of life.

Committed to understanding and sharing the benefits of yoga, Kerry pursued comprehensive training, beginning with a two-year, 390-hour program at Triyoga London. Here, she studied the intricacies of yoga asana, anatomy, and philosophy. Kerry continued her educational journey with an in-depth Restorative Yoga training with Anna Ashby and more recently an advanced 500-hour teacher training under Laura Gilmore in Bristol, focusing on specialised areas such as movement science, biomechanics, accessible yoga, trauma-informed yoga, creative sequencing, restorative and somatic practices.

Between 2019 and 2023, Kerry also played a pivotal role as a mentor for upcoming yoga teachers at Triyoga’s teacher training programs, where she shared her knowledge and passion for yoga with a new generation of practitioners.

Kerry believes passionately that yoga is accessible and beneficial for everyone. Her classes are designed to be safe and inclusive, providing a space for students to explore and heal. She infuses her sessions with playfulness and creativity, allowing participants to discover new movement possibilities and self-expression while fostering a deeper understanding of the body-mind connection through traditional yoga breathing techniques.

The transition from a career in professional dance and drama to becoming a yoga teacher reflects Kerry's own personal evolution towards self-discovery and healing. Her practice is a testament to her belief in the restorative power of mindful movement.

Today, Kerry is dedicated to guiding others along their path to self-awareness and integration. Her teaching promises not just physical flexibility and strength, but also a journey towards balance, harmony, and inner peace. Through her guidance, Kerry hopes to inspire her students to embrace their full potential and find lasting happiness and freedom through the practices of yoga.
