Wesley Visscher owns Scent imprint for dogs (SIFD) and Scent Imprint Conservation Dogs. His professional experience spans over 17 years. He started as a dog handler for explosive and narcotic detection dogs. Because of his passion for training dogs, he decided to start his own company in 2014. He specializes in training dogs for detection and tracking.
His dogs are operational worldwide, such as the US, Europe, and Africa. Police, military, border forces units, and private security companies are his clients. He trains dogs in different disciplines, such as narcotica detection dogs, explosive detection dogs, wildlife detection dogs, and tracking dogs.
He is also involved with several projects that fight against illegal wildlife trade and train dogs for various anti-poaching units in Asia and Africa. We set up K-9 units for International NGOs, where we train local handlers to become operational dog handlers.
The training includes:
Learning theory on trailing and technical tracking
Leash handling
Reading the various signals in the dog
Laying and designing trails
Creating a training plan

Thank you for booking on the workshop, the workshop will be held at the above address, please allow time before the workshop to exercise your dog and for them to relive themselves.
Please pick up after your dog and always keep them on a lead, it is a busy area.
Once your dog has been exercised, please leave them in your vehicle and come to the unit and sign in.
Please bring a seat, limited seating available on a first come basis.
Tea/Coffee and biscuits will be provided. Bring your own Lunch. We have a microwave on site, McDonalds and Marks and Spencers a short walk away, other shops a short drive.
There are a couple of fields a short drive away to run your dogs.
Dogs will have to be left in vehicles when not being worked/run
