NOT The Boxing day Dip 2024

Following on from our last message regarding the cancellation of the Boxing Day Dip itself for 2024 due to the POOR categorization of the water quality, the Deal Icebreakers are pleased to announce the planning of a replacement event. This will be called “NOT The Boxing Day Dip” and is planned to take place on the promenade immediately North of the Deal Pier apron, and on the apron itself.
Planned activities include a Treasure Hunt, an Exercise Class, some high jinks from the Deal Pirates, and a Cold Water Challenge (so people already in receipt of sponsorship have a meaningful activity to justify this). Come in your fancy dress! There will of course be volunteers collecting your contributions towards our usual worthy local good causes.
The event is free and will start at 11am and finish at 2pm - please put this in your diary and come and join us for some fun in spite of everything!
