It wouldn’t be the summer holidays without Holiday Club! We are super busy this summer but have carved out a couple of days for Holiday Club. Groups will be kept small (max 8) so do book to avoid disappointment.
Woodland Crafts
We will be getting creative with plants (Plant craft!) to make gorgeous little fairy baskets and/or cordage jewelry and other items. Using natural materials such as bark, nettles, grasses and other plants we will make gorgeous things.
This is a great introduction to weaving and the joy of harvesting, processing and making things from nature.
We will have materials prepared so that young hands can have a go at successful weaving with natural materials. We will be based in the woods around the campfire.
Please come dressed for the outdoors. It can be cooler in the woods, even on a sunny day. We continue the session despite the weather (unless unsafe) and although we have a covered area, a waterproof is advisable.
Closed shoes are recommended for all bushcraft and outdoor activities for safety.

Harts Grove is situated 5 minutes drive from Thaxted on the B1051 to Elsenham
Drive out of Thaxted from Park Street, the B1051 and follow the road until you see the signpost your left. Take that turning and the woods will be immediately on your right, where you will see the laybys for parking.
If you are coming from the Elsenham direction the signpost will be on your right, and you will turn left.
