This class will focus on the practical application of herbs for basic first aid. This comprehensive session is designed to equip you with the foundational knowledge and skills to effectively use herbs for common cuts, scrapes, and other minor occurrences.
During the class, we will not only delve into various herbal remedies but also learn how to accurately assess your skill level and discern when professional medical intervention is necessary. A key component of our time together will involve hands-on remedy making, and you will leave with your own assembled basic herbal first aid kit to confidently use at home.

If you are able to meet your needs with relative ease while budgeting your educational and entertainment spending – for instance, you are able to take classes and eat out occasionally as long as you are mindful – consider paying at this level, which will help sustain the work of the Folk School at a modest level.
Supported Level Ticket: $90
If you struggle to fund your basic needs and have limited access to resources in your family and community, or if you would not be able to access this offering without a discounted payment option, consider paying at this level. We value your presence and contributions to our community and do not want any economic circumstances to be a barrier to attendance!
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and dressing in layers, we'll spend part of this class outdoors.
