In this skill-sharing event, spoon carvers and green woodworkers of all kinds will gather together to carve and share wood, tools, stories, techniques, and the results of their craft. All levels of experience are welcome, and beginners will be well cared for. Listen to the sound of hatchets hewing and help fill the floor with wood shavings. Enjoy the tradition of a Spoon Pass and the opportunity to purchase spoons, bowls, and tools from talented artisans.
Basic carving knives and sharpening supplies will be available on loan to beginners and for purchase. Bring spoon blanks and green wood (if you have them) and lunch & snacks.
The usual Saturday night potluck will be a shared mealtime, but food will not be shared. Sunday will end with a socially distanced Spoon Pass, starting at about noon.
Workshops and carving begin Saturday with coffee at 9am and demos at 10am.
Observers are welcome, free of charge!

Because the Covid-19 pandemic is unlikely to be over, participants will be required to socially distance themselves. Masks are required when people are gathered together (but still socially distanced) to watch a demonstration or participate in some other group activity.
