Basic Electricity and Home Wiring, with Jon Passi

Learn the basics of electricity and home wiring; from switches, to circuit breakers, to lights and outlets. You will also learn the basics of DC wiring, such as for cars and off-grid cabins.
This is a hands-on class, and we will be practicing wiring and wire cutting and stripping, along with examining an off-grid, battery powered cabin.
Class comes with a short hand-out, explaining electrical basics.

Sustainer Level Ticket: $85
If you are able to meet your needs with relative ease while budgeting your educational and entertainment spending – for instance, you are able to take multiple classes per year and eat out occasionally as long as you are mindful – consider paying at this level, which will help sustain the work of the Folk School at a modest level.

Supported Level Ticket: $60
If you struggle to fund your basic needs and have limited access to resources in your family and community, and/or if you would not be able to access this offering without a discounted payment option, consider paying at this level.
