At DW Training & Development, I provide practical, engaging first aid training built on real-world experience.

With over 25 years of military service, I first qualified as a Team Medic in Iraq in 2004. During operational deployments in both Iraq and Afghanistan, I was trained and prepared to provide medical assistance when required. Those experiences shaped the calm, practical approach I bring to first aid training today.

As an independent training provider, I personally handle your enquiry, booking and training, giving you a consistent and friendly service from start to finish.

Based in Southampton, I deliver hands-on first aid training designed to build real confidence giving every learner the skills to act when it matters most.

Refund & Transfer Policy (DW Training & Development)

DW Training & Development operates in line with HSE expectations for fairness, clarity and learner safety. Please read the following policy carefully before booking your course.

Refunds

  • Full refunds are available up to 48 hours before the scheduled course start time.
  • No refunds can be issued within 48 hours of the course, as resources, materials and instructor time will already have been allocated.

Transfers

  • If you are unable to attend your booked course, your place may be transferred to another scheduled course date, subject to availability.

  • Transfer requests must be made by emailing: info@dwdevelopment.co.uk

  • Only one transfer is permitted per booking.

Non‑Attendance

  • Learners who do not attend their course without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund or transfer except under certain circumstances, such as medical emergencies or situations where evidence can be provided.

  • If you believe a non‑attendance charge has been applied incorrectly, you may challenge this by emailing: info@development.co.uk

Cancellations by DW Training & Development

  • In the rare event that DW Training & Development must cancel a course, learners will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or

  • A free transfer to another course date.
