Gentle Flow yoga classes comprise gently flowing sequences to strengthen the body, improve flexibility and maintain balance. Each class will include breathing and relaxation techniques to soothe body, mind and spirit.
The class will run at Calm Village - a lovely new yoga studio in Irby, Wirral.
Kate will simultaneously use Zoom to allow people who cannot attend in person to enjoy the class.
Our theme for this six week block will be Yoga for healthy aging, including the following topics -
Week 1 - Joint health
Week 2 - Muscle and bone health
Week 3 - Cardio vascular health and blood pressure
Week 4 - Brain health
Week 5 - Respiratory health
Week 6 - Bringing it all together - a great opportunity to look at the vagus nerve !
There will be some degree of overlap from week to week, and if you miss a class, remember that I will send out the videos. Each class will also include some pranayama and a relaxation.
Please wear comfortable clothes and bring everything you need - yoga mat, blanket, belt, cushion, a yoga block if you have one - although everything is provided at the studio so don't worry if you haven't got everything !

If you cannot attend a class in person, you can join on Zoom - I will send the code with your booking confirmation. If you can't attend I will send a class recording.
