SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE
Welcoming and celebrating the Autumn Equinox when we have equal hours of day and night... ideal time to think about letting go just like the leaves on the trees... a nice ritual/ tradition is to light candles which will symbolize the light we need to guide us through the darker months ahead. This unique class gives us a chance to slow down, and really let go in the most comfortable way.
We will start this class by lighting candles and then use some standing movements to shake off any negative energy we may have. Thereafter moving to the floor where the surface beneath you will be covered in mats, duvets, blankets and roll out meditation cushions (aka Lilo's).
In addition to the super soft and comfy surface beneath you, during class we will use props such as bolsters, pillows and blankets to help physically support the body whilst unwinding and quietening a busy mind.
Finishing off in relaxation you will be encouraged to get as comfortable as possible to allow the body to absorb the many benefits of this class as you rest, restore and rejuvenate.
You should leave feeling calm, grounded and tension free to help you start the new season in the best way you can.
No need to bring your mat but optional to bring cosy socks and a jumper as Yin is a cooling practice, although done in a warm room.

Park in the public parking spaces and the end of the street. Go down the steps on the left and walk up the footpath to your right.
No. 50 is the first house overlooking the park. You will see the entrance gate for the studio from the footpath.
The gate is opened 15mins before class starts.
