In this class, students will learn basic spoke-and-weave basketry while weaving their own market basket. Learn the basics from material preparation to finishing. Discussion will also focus on utilitarian and decorative touches that will make the finished basket useful and unique. At the end of the class, students will take home their very own market basket.
