This CI class will centre on falling as a practice, falling as technique, and falling as a choice. We will explore safe and creative ways of falling into rolls, slides, folds, expansions, and rebounds. In contact, we will look at possibilities for falling together as one, as well as falling into and out of contact with one another.
About Lewis:
Lewis is a professional dancer with 16 years experience as a collaborative performer and educator. He has been practising CI for almost 20 years, sharing and experimenting with the form through his teaching for the past decade. Lewis teaches open-level classes, workshops, and at festivals internationally, as well as working with dance companies and in higher education settings.
