Surrey Community Games 2026 - Spelthorne

Structure of the Surrey Community Games 2026:

Spelthorne Borough Council is proud to offer FREE local activity sessions, in collaboration with local clubs and coaches, offering a variety of sporting activities.

Children and young people will have the opportunity to attend FREE training to try a new sport which they have never done before. Following their training, they will get to celebrate their achievements at our Games Day along with children and young people from Runnymede.

Please see below the sports available as part of the Surrey Community Games 2026:

Basketball - Mixed (School Years 7-9)
Dance - Mixed (School Years 3-8)
Football - Girls (School Years 4-6)
Hockey - Boys (School Years 5-6)
Hockey - Girls (School Years 5-6)
Judo - Boys (Ages 8-12)
Judo - Girls (Ages 8-12)
Tennis - Mixed (School Years 3-4)

Games Days will take place across both Boroughs in June 2026. More Games Day information can be found on the activity booking pages.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  1. You MUST be a beginner to take part in the training sessions
  2. You MUST either live or go to school in Spelthorne to take part in the games and represent Team Spelthorne
  3. You CANNOT take part in an activity you took part in as part of last year's games
  4. You MUST be the eligible age for each activity
  5. You MUST register via BookWhen before you take part
