ABOUT THE RETREAT
Vacation 2026 is a space to explore and celebrate who you are, supported by a community of dancing gay brothers. Together, we create an experience that nourishes us for weeks and months beyond the retreat, enriched by the friendships and connections we form.
Through the simple yet transformative practice of freedomDANCE, we reconnect with our bodies, soften the inner critic, and open our hearts. In this special space, vulnerability — our greatest strength — is both welcomed and celebrated.
VENUE
We’ll gather at Monte Casa Spa & Wellness, a four-star hotel on the Montenegrin Riviera in Petrovac. Set amid beautiful surroundings and contemporary design, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the Adriatic coastline.
From here, you can look out over the endless blue of the sea and be carried by the changing colours of Montenegro’s sunsets. The setting invites rest, pleasure, and renewal — supporting both deep practice and genuine relaxation.
Please note: the hotel will host other guests during our stay; however, we will have exclusive use of the dance space.

TEACHERS
Bodie Hunt and Alex Svoboda bring a combined 35 years of experience in dance meditation and conscious movement. Both trained directly with Gabrielle Roth and are members of the freedomDANCE Teacher Training faculty.
Since 2013, they have been leading Vacation retreats for gay men — each one a unique and memorable journey.
