Gaia Sound Journeys

Lindsay | Sound Therapy Practitioner (British Academy of Sound Therapy) | East Lothian (Scotland) | International Therapeutic Sound Association (ITSA) Membership Number: TSA 25/471) | PhD in psychology | BSc in occupational therapy (HCPC registered)

I’m Lindsay, the founder of Gaia Sound Journeys. With a background in research, occupational therapy, and social care, I'm passionate about supporting others to improve and maintain their health and wellbeing. I currently work part-time in a wonderful community supporting with adults with additional needs, and Gaia Sound Journeys is my passion project!

I currently offer sound baths and gong baths in two East Lothian venues: Fern Bothy (Longniddry Steading) and New Winton Village Hall. Gaia Sound Journeys is inspired by the wisdom of Mother Earth and invites you to reconnect with yourself, others, and the world around you.

My role as a sound therapy practitioner is not to diagnose, provide advice, or interpret your experience. Instead, I am here to offer therapeutic sound and hold space. My approach is trauma-informed and guided by a reflective lens to help you gain more clarity and flow in your life. I believe in the power of sound to improve wellbeing and help us address the disconnection we often feel in today’s modern society, and my sessions are often inspired by nature and tarot. Therapeutic sound has played a significant role in my own healing journey in recent years, and I'm excited to share its benefits with you.

Gaia Sound Journeys holds space for all. If cost is a barrier, I offer Community-Supported Spaces (20% discount). If this feels like it’s for you, please feel free to email me, no explanation needed.
