Training Programme

We offer neurodivergent-affirming training for parent/carers, young people, and professionals. Our highly regarded training is led by experienced trainers with many years' experience in supporting young people and their families, including trainers who are autistic who share their valuable lived experience.

Terms
· We are a small charity and our training programme relies on income from course fees and a minimum number of bookings.
· Concessions: For some courses, we may be able to offer a limited number of places at a discounted fee for families on low income or professionals working in a charity or not-for-profit community organisation. If you would like to request a discounted fee please email training@afso.org.uk and let us know the reasons for your request, the course, and number of places you wish to book. We can only offer discounted places if we have achieved sufficient full price bookings – so you will be placed on a waiting list and we cannot guarantee a discounted place.
· Refund policy: We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a course. If we cancel or postpone a course we will offer you an alternative course or a full refund. If you cancel a booking less than 28 days before the course start date, then a refund is not payable.
· If courses are oversubscribed, we may prioritise families who live in Oxfordshire (or access statutory services in Oxfordshire e.g. education, healthcare)
