- MEMBERSHIP COMMITMENT, CANCELLATIONS AND FREEZES
Fitness with Frances/Revive is a small independent fitness business. Membership income allows us to employ instructors, maintain facilities and equipment, invest in new classes and events, and continue providing high-quality services to our members.
Members acknowledge that the sustainability of the business relies upon reasonable certainty of membership numbers and income.
9.1 Minimum Commitment Period
All memberships are subject to a minimum commitment period of three (3) months from the date of joining.
Memberships may not be cancelled during this period except in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of Fitness with Frances/Revive.
9.2 Membership Cancellation
Following the minimum commitment period, members may cancel their membership by providing written notice before their next billing date.
Notice must be submitted by email to [INSERT EMAIL ADDRESS] or in writing.
If notice is received less than thirty (30) days before the next billing date, one further membership payment will be due and membership will terminate at the end of that paid period.
No refunds will be provided for unused memberships, sessions or classes.
9.3 Membership Downgrades
Requests to downgrade a membership package must be submitted in writing before the next billing date.
Where a downgrade request is received less than thirty (30) days before the next billing date, the current membership package and payment amount will remain in place for one further billing cycle before the downgrade takes effect.
9.4 Membership Freezes
Membership freezes are not guaranteed and will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
Examples may include:
• Serious injury or illness preventing participation
• Pregnancy-related medical restrictions
• Relocation outside the local area
• Other exceptional circumstances approved by management
All freeze requests must be submitted in writing.
Fitness with Frances/Revive reserves the right to request supporting evidence where appropriate.
Approved freezes will normally be granted for a minimum period of one month and a maximum period of three months.
9.5 Memberships are Non-Transferable
Memberships are personal to the member and may not be transferred, shared, assigned or used by any other person.
9.6 Changes to Memberships and Services
Fitness with Frances/Revive reserves the right to amend membership packages, pricing, class timetables, instructors, facilities and Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary for the operation of the business. Members will be provided with reasonable notice of any significant changes.
