Music at Heart Bookings
Music at Heart is an award-winning, non-profit music school based in Chapel Allerton/Harehills, in North Leeds. Our vision is to nurture a child’s lifelong love of music, by providing quality musical experiences to babies, toddlers and children in the early years. Using the Kodály approach to music education, we create community through singing, movement and instrumental playing in our gentle and inclusive classes.
Kodály said that "music belongs to everybody". Music at Heart serves the diverse community of Leeds and aims to enable all families to attend our classes without barriers. We offer free and subsidised class places to those on low incomes, with SEND, single parent families, parents/carers struggling with mental health, asylum seekers and refugees, non-English speakers, and foster and adoptive families with care-experienced children. We also offer subsidised classes, held within our dedicated music classroom, to local nurseries and schools. We actively welcome LGBTQ+ families; please find detailed inclusivity information throughout our website.
