The Craftery is a warm and welcoming creative space in the heart of Beccles, proudly showcasing handmade arts, crafts and gifts from over 60 local artists and makers alongside a wide range of inspiring workshops and classes.

Our workshops are designed to encourage creativity, confidence, connection and relaxation in a friendly and supportive environment. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already love getting creative, there’s something here for everyone 🥰

All workshops include full use of materials, tools, equipment and step-by-step guidance, so you can simply turn up, relax and enjoy the creative process.

Most sessions also include tea, coffee and a warm welcome ☕️✨

Accessibility:
We have a portable ramp available for access into the shop, and our outdoor toilet is fitted with a handrail. The toilet is accessed externally via one small step at the rear of the building.

Parking:
Hungate pay and display car park is situated directly behind The Craftery.

Booking Policy:
• Full refund or transfer up to 72 hours before your workshop
• 50% refund or transfer up to 48 hours before
• Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds within 48 hours of the workshop unless your space can be filled

The Craftery Workshop Booking & Refund Policy

We understand that sometimes plans change, so we’ve tried to make our cancellation policy as fair as possible while also protecting our small business and our wonderful workshop tutors.

If you need to cancel your booking

🌿 More than 72 hours before your workshop

  • You’ll receive a full refund or, if you prefer, you can transfer your booking to another suitable workshop.

🌿 Between 48 and 72 hours before your workshop

  • You’ll receive a 50% refund or you can transfer your booking to another suitable workshop.

🌿 Less than 48 hours before your workshop

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer your booking, as materials will already have been prepared and your place reserved.

However…

If we are able to fill your space from our waiting list or through another booking, we’re more than happy to refund your workshop fee (less any non-refundable booking fees, if applicable) or transfer your booking to another workshop. We always want to help where we can.

Can’t make it?

You’re very welcome to send a friend or family member in your place—just let us know their name before the workshop begins.

If The Craftery needs to cancel a workshop

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a workshop (for example due to illness or insufficient bookings), you’ll be offered the choice of:

  • A full refund, or
  • A transfer to another workshop or future date.
