Yoga Classes Monday, Wednesday and Saturday
I want to thank you all for your continued support and good wishes. I’m having a really hard time and having to dig deep to embrace the yogic tenet of patience and acceptance right now. I’ve been stressed and worried about cancelling classes and letting people down and had really hoped to be back for Wednesday’s class this week. Yesterday, the 15th, after seeing the osteopath I realised that it had only been 10 days since I injured myself. In that short time I’ve had three significant osteopathy adjustments the last of which on Friday caused a huge pain flareup which was a shocking and scary experience.
I had been feeling better last week and overdid things in my zeal to return, instead putting my recovery back at least 48-72 hours! I have now decided to simply accept what is and not try to force things. It’s very difficult for those of us who are generally very busy and active to accept that sometimes we just have to let go of control and let nature take its course in order to heal. This is what I’m doing now. It’s been an extremely frustrating and difficult time and I can’t wait to be back sharing yoga with you all.
